Our team has backgrounds affiliated with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), USA-W, American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and more to uniquely design and implement a program that’s customized for you. Because Platinum Physical Therapy Service’s team have medical backgrounds in Physical Therapy (PT, DPT) , Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and Athletic Training (ATC), each personal training program can be tailored for injury reduction of ACLs, sports hernias, throwers injuries, running and cycling.  

Bridging the gap from recovery to a well-rounded, fitness program is essential to maintain the gains made during rehabilitation.  Part of our responsibility to you is to ensure that there is a seamless transition. Prior to beginning a program, each assessment is performed by Boyd Dyer, a licensed physical therapist.We encourage those who are nearing the end of a physical therapy and rehabilitation program to strongly consider involving our team.  We can accommodate small group training or one-on-one personal training anywhere on Long Island, both indoor & outdoor (beach, park, field). 

Boyd specializes in creating fitness programs for special populations such as Parkinson’s, stroke, and postpartum patients.
